Client: Radley Engineering Limited
Project: Workshop relocation – Regeneron, Limerick
Scope: Relocation of existing engineering workshop to new location
Radley Engineering approached Kenneally Steel with the view to moving their engineering workshop in a short time period. It was decided on site to move the entire building in one unit to allow the project to be completed within the time frame.
Building size: 12.6m long x 8.7m wide and 6m high.
Kenneally Steel designed and manufactured secondary structural steel frame to join on to existing building. This allowed structure to be disconnected from concrete foundations, hydraulically jacked to required height to allow sufficient clearance to load to truck trailer.
Building transported to boundary of new location where 60-ton crane was set up to lift building into place.
Kenneally Steel supplied all riggers, banksmen and transportation equipment to carry out project.
This project was completed on time and within project programme in the Summer of 2018.
